Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now receiving a love/hate reaction from the fans. There is now a petition to have The Last Jedi removed from the franchise.
Henry Walsh, who had started this petition has revealed the reasons behind him starting this petition.
DEC 19, 2017 —”Hey guys, I need to be honest here…
I put this petition up because I was upset and I was on strong pain medication. Last December I was in a vehicle accident and am still trying to get the surgery and such, it really messed up my knee and leg and put me in a wheelchair. If I sit up for a long time, it starts hurting.
So after spending the time to get to the movie, watch it, and get back, I was in ridiculous pain. I was frustrated and medicated. So, I made this petition. It was a bad idea at the time, and I feel that we are pooling our efforts in not a healthy direction.”
Walsh says that he loves Star Wars and slam the fans for supporting this petition that he had started. It is a very strange thing to read, as Walsh talks as though he is not the same person who started this petition.
This movie seems to have a problem connecting with the audiences though, but the critics are praising it.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now in theaters.
