All of us can agree that Black Panther was a groundbreaking movie. There were a lot of things that had worked well, and the reason why this film stands out is how the characters have been incorporated into this film. The story of the film was well-crafted by Ryan Coogler.
The film is a game-changer for the MCU and Wakanda will come out of the shadows and will share the resources and knowledge with the world. This means that the world will have access to the WakandanVibranium and more people will be using it for other purposes.
Wakanda has been all this while, and it was protecting the reserves of Vibranium from going into wrong hands. T’Chaka’s brother N’Jobu had helped Klaue steal some Vibranium from Wakanda. Klaue then became richer and kept selling the Vibranium to the highest bidder.
Other than Vibranium, Wakanda kept tabs on every Vibraniumartifact in the world. So, how did Howard stark get hold of Vibranium in Captain America: The First Avenger? WOuldn’tWakanda have known about this?
Stark had let Steve keep the prototype Shield which was made from the strongest metal in the world, and he revealed that it is all the vibranium they have. The Vibranium was not mentioned before the age of Ultron and Klaue had also revealed that the Vibranium came at a very personal cost. And Stark got this without anything hassle.
This answer lies in the comic book tie-in to Captain America: The First Avenger, “the First Vengeance.” In the storyline, Stark had been demonstrating an iteration of the Shield:
“Tonight’s performance is provided by Vibranium, a metal my Star Industries researchers discovered in deepest Africa!”
And according to the source, researchers of Stark Industries found this, and it means that they might have been much to Wakanda. Wakanda kept itself very secluded from the world, so this does not explain how the researchers found it outside Wakanda.
We do not know how Marvel will explain this fact after the events of Black Panther. An explanation to this can be that since the Vibranium came out of a Meteor, a few parts must have broken off when it it entered earth’s atmosphere.
We must believe this meteor theory for some time until Marvel comes out with something which is related to this in the future films. This is the synopsis of Black Panther:
“After the death of his father, T’Challa returns home to the African nation of Wakanda to take his rightful place as king. When a powerful enemy suddenly reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king — and as Black Panther — gets tested when he’s drawn into a conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people.”
