Get ready to welcome your favorite villain turned into a big-hearted guy who is set to return to theaters during this year’s holiday season, and the first look of the new Grinch has been revealed.

NBC joined hands with Illumination to create a winter Olympics promo featuring the latest version of the iconic Christmas character by Dr. Seuss. You can watch the full clip featuring The Grinch, above!

The video shows Grinch (Benedict Cumberbatch) relaxing in a lounge chair at home, wearing a plaid robe and looking really grumpy, with his dear dog Max on his lap. He is watching the Olympic figure skating event on TV and is suddenly disturbed by the sunshine pouring in through the window, and the terribly sweet sound of a bird’s singing. Just as Grinch is supposed to do, he shut the blinds and drives the bird away from the window.

Suddenly there is a change in Grinch’s tone as he watches TV and listens to the announcer. In no time, the nasty green guy is on the ice, covered in a shining suit and skating in front of a huge crowd. He displays fantastic moves and his performance wounds down with roses being thrown at him.

This is revealed to be only a dream, and the Grinch is again back in his living room cuddling Max in his arms and feeling embarrassed for dancing without a care in the world.

The promo’s final seconds read the message, “Anyone Can Dream,” even if it be the Grinch.

The studio famous for Despicable Me and The Secret Life of Pets is now coming up with The Grinch, a new version of the famous story from Dr. Seuss. Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange, Sherlock) is doing the voice duties for the lead character, and the movie is directed by Peter Candeland and Yarrow Cheney.

Dr. Suess’ The Grinch releases in theaters on November 9.
