A release date has been announced, and Red Dead fans can expect to play the prequel to a popular series. Although the launch in October is farther than anticipated, it is better that the developers spend extra time on ensuring the quality matches the expectations of the fans! Fortunately, for the over-anxious fans, we have new details about the upcoming game which might quell your Red Dead Redemption 2 thirst for now.
Trusted Reviews, has shared a newly leaked document which gives us a great idea of what’s coming up next, assuming the leak to be genuine. Whether it be battle royale or the new first-person mode or the interactive NPCs; the new leak is a tempting one which reveals the extent of the ‘new’ accompanying the new title.
A vital section of the leak for Red Dead Redemption 2 is the apparently huge open-world which will provide greater freedom for the fans of the game. We didn’t get to see a detailed map, thus, the exact details of the open-world are not clear, but, at least the inclusion of Armadillo and Ridgewood is confirmed.
Since the company’s other mega-franchise is Grand Theft Auto, it is obvious that the crazy success of V would make them want to pick up some of the features from the newer title. One such feature is the first person mode, “Red Dead Redemption 2 will allow you to play both the main campaign and multiplayer in first-person. The document states the game will have bespoke animations to fit the style.”
Mini-games, variable vehicles which the players can use (carriages, mine carts and so on), more NPCs to interact with, the comeback of popular characters, etc. As per the leak, “Two characters featured in the document, including main protagonist Arthur Morgan, were corroborated by official screenshots released by Rockstar. One character is Dutch Van Der Linde, leader of Dutch’s Gang, while the other appears to be Arthur Morgan.”
No doubt this leak is mightily appealing, and in sync with most of the already verified details, it must be noted that all the rumors should be accepted with a bit of skepticism till the time the publishers confirm it. The fact is..we are talking about Rockstar, and they enjoy keeping us guessing.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will release on Xbox One and PS4 on October 26, and no news is available regarding any PC version.
