The first trailer for Cloverfield 3 had aired during the Super Bowl and it revealed the title, Cloverfield Paradox. This movie was known as God Particle and not a lot of information was available.
The Cloverfield Paradox was supposed to release this month, but it was then announced that this film would be pushed back and released on Netflix. Netflix has made history by releasing this trailer during the Super Bowl. The movie has been a long time coming and was a mysterious one.
Reshoots which were overseen by J.J. Abrams had pushed the release of The Cloverfield Paradox from February to October and now again to April of 2018. Fans had assumed that this film would not be released at all. Another information is that The Cloverfield Paradox will be connected to its first movie.
Oren Uziel had The Cloverfield Paradox written before 10 Cloverfield Lane. While we do not know a lot about it, its synopsis is here:
“In the near future, a group of international astronauts on a space station are working to solve a massive energy crisis on Earth. The experimental technology aboard the station has an unexpected result, leaving the team isolated and fighting for their survival.”
Netflix has dusted the competition with the secret Cloverfield Paradox trailer. The talks of Mission: Impossible 6, Solo: A Star Wars Story and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom have been silenced. There are many things to watch after the Super Bowl, but it seems like Netflix may have to worry about a server crash because of to the intense marketing.
The movie stars Elizabeth Debicki, Daniel Brühl, GuguMbatha-Raw, AkselHennie, John Ortiz, Chris O’Dowd, Zhang Ziyi and David Oyelowo.
