Marvel Studios recently dropped its first official trailer for the sequel of Ant-Man and the Wasp. This debut had been announced on the Black Panther red carpet and was delivered. Scott Lang gets a partner, and that will cause a few problems.
From the MCU comes Ant-Man and The Wasp, a movie which will feature the heroes with an ability to shrink. In the light of the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of a few of his choices as being a superhero and a father. He is then confronted by Dr. Hank Pym and Hope van Dyne with a new mission. Scott must now put on the suit and fight with the Wasp as a team.
Ant-Man and The Wasp will bring back Paul Rudd, Michael Peña, Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly. Bobby Cannavale, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian and Tip “T.I.” Harris will return. A few additions to this cast include Laurence Fishburne, Hannah John-Kamen, Michelle Pfeiffer, Randall Park and Walton Goggins.
Marvel’s Ant-Man and The Wasp has been directed by Peyton Reed, and Kevin Feige produces this with Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Stan Lee and Charles Newirth being the executive producers. This sequel is the third Marvel movie this year.
This movie will be different from the previous Marvel movies. This is what Evangeline Lilly had to say:
“Those characters are experts in the quantum realm. In Ant-Man and the Wasp, they are trying everything in their power to safely enter the quantum realm and return from it because they have evidence from the first film that Scott Lang was able to do that. If he can do it, why can’t we? If we do succeed in Ant-Man and the Wasp, then that does open a whole new multi-verse to enter into and play around in. I’m not the story creator, so I can’t tell you what they’re going to do with that. But I see the potential there.”
