‘Pacific Rim: Uprising’ Will Offer Much Bigger Monsters In Its Sequel

The trailer for the sequel to Pacific Rim has just been released and it provides an interesting look at the post-Kaiju world.

In Pacific Rim: Uprising, life has settled down after Jaegers had defeated monsters in its first movie. But it does not stay that way.

This new movie shows John Boyega’s debut in the upcoming film, who is taking up the role of the producer with his first project under UpperRoom Entertainment. This actor plays Jake Pentecost, son of General Pentecost (Idris Elba) from the first movie.Image result for Pacific Rim

We get a glimpse of the new threats. Tihs includes a bigger monster and this clip teases a few great action sequences showing that these robots will prove formidable threats against the new Kaiju.

This movie is directed by Steven S. DeKnight. He has joined hands with Boyega to bring the sequel to theaters. The legacy of the first movie seems to loom large, as Pentecost takes part in the Jaeger program after the Kaiju’s return.

Charlie Day has returned as Dr. Newt Geiszler but it we are yet to see how big a role he will play in the upcoming movie.

This The movie will release in two months and will offer the fans the 2nd installment in the franchise.

Pacific Rim: Uprising will hit theatres on March 23rd.
