The CW President Reveals The Future Of ‘Supernatural’ To His Fans

It is now safe to say that Supernatural is the mainstays of The CW, with this show airing its 13th season. According to network president, Mark Pedowitz, this series will show no sign of slowing down.

During an interview, Pedowitz had been asked about the future of this series. Pedowitz could not say whether or not it will be renewed for season 14t but he did hint that doing so will be a good opportunity.

“Next year would be Supernatural’s 300th episode,” Pedowitz revealed, “which is remarkable.”

Pedowitz gave a recurring answer about how long Supernatural would last. He said it depends on how Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki want to continue.

“That show will go on as long as it keeps going, the boys keep doing it and the ratings keep holding,” Pedowitz explained.

The midseason premiere will be a backdoor pilot for the Wayward Sisters spinoff, and Scooby Doo crossover episode.

Supernatural is all set to return on Thursday, January 18th, at 8/7c on The CW.
