Heather North, The Voice Actress Of Daphne From ‘Scooby-Doo’ Passes Away


Heather North who has been known for lending her voice for Daphne Blake in Scooby-Doo, recently passed away at the age of 71.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that she died on November 30 in her house. Her husband, TV producer, H. Wesley Kenney had passed away in January, 2015.

The actress started her work on TV in 1965 and appeared in The Monkees and My Three Sons. By 1970, she started lending her voice as Daphne in Scooby Doo, Where Are You!

She then continued starring in many Scooby-Doo shows until Scooby-Doo and the Monster of Mexico (2003).

North is survived by her son, Kevin, daughter-in-law, Stephanie; Nina, the stepdaughter, and her husband Brent; Wes, the stepson, his wife, Leslie and Jocelyn, her granddaughter.

A memorial service for the actress will be held at 11:30 a.m. on December 20 at First Christian Church in Studio City.
