Star Wars: The Last Jedi has now received a universal acclaim from all critics, with a few proclaiming that it is the best Star Wars film ever. But audiences are not so excited and enamored by this movie as the audience score on Rotten Tomatoes is plummeting.

The Rotten Tomatoes audience score for this movie is 57 % based on 65,086 ratings with a score of 3.4/5. 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens has an audience score of 88 % on 223,632 ratings and an average of 4.3/5.

Rotten Tomatoes’ consensus for this movie stated that the movie, which has 93% critic score, “honors the saga’s rich legacy while adding some surprising twists and delivering all the emotion-rich action fans could hope for.”
