Since the first appearance in season 1 of The Flash, Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold had an intense journey in the Arrowverse.
After leaving for Legends of Tomorrow, Miller has appeared on The Flash only twice. And all this will change as Miller will don the parka and soon work with our Scarlet Speedster for the last time before he is done with the role.
At a German Comic-Con, Miller had confirmed that he will be there for one more episode for Flash in January.
Although the contract will be released once he shoots the episode, Miller had said that he would be open to coming up in the future.
“I love this character, and I have a lot of affection for the cast,” he told said. “There are many reasons to come back. It just has to be the right story.”
Miller had even praised the writers of Arrowverse for exploring many facets of Leonard Snart through time travel.
Following his addition to Legends, Cold had changed from the villainous ways into a hero. He had sacrificed himself in the first season but managed to return many times through hallucinations. Snart had returned as Citizen Cold, a heroic version of the character who had aided in fighting off the Nazis in “Crisis on Earth-X.”
He has decided to stay with the Legends, but he will not be permanent.
Starring Grant Gustin, Jesse L. Martin, Carlos Valdes, Tom Cavanagh, Candice Patton, Keiynan Lonsdale Danielle Panabaker, and many more, The Flash returns Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
