Warner Bros. has revealed an updated slate for the DCEU, and the studio has left out a few surprising movies.
While holding a panel at Comic-Con Experience 2017 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Warner Bros. had revealed the upcoming DC Comics-based movies. And this included movies that have been expected for quite a while and the absence of many key projects.
A Wonder Woman sequel was the first to be presented though it opted to not keep the title, “Wonder Woman 2.” A title card for Aquaman then followed, which makes sense as it is Warner Bros.’ next DC release.
Other title cards displayed are Suicide Squad 2, Flashpoint, Shazam, Batgirl, Green Lantern Corps, The Batman and Justice League Dark. It is possible that the movies are those that have been confirmed to be moving ahead at the studio.
The slate leaves out movies like Cyborg, Deathstroke, Joker & Harley Quinn, Gotham City Sirens, Harley Quinn, NightwingJoker origin movie produced by Martin Scorsese. It may be that these movies are too early in the development stage.
Arriving December 21, 2018, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman/Arthur Curry, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Ludi Lin as Murk, and Michael Beach as Jesse Kane.
