Jeff Goldblum’s Dr. Ian Malcolm returns with the words “Here I am, talking about dinosaurs again” in a BTS video for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Arriving ahead of the trailer, the featurette gives us a glimpse into the production of the Universal Pictures sequel and a few previously released footage. The video includes commentary from Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard with director J. A. Bayona, Colin Trevorrow, and producers Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley.
Newly released plot details show that Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire Dearing and Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady return to Isla Nublar in order to evacuate the dinosaurs that are at risk due to a reawakened volcano. It seems like they may be “literally blowing up the island,” according to Pratt.
The movie will increase the number of dinosaurs, as Crowley says, “in this Jurassic World, you will see more dinosaurs than you have ever seen before.”
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is being promoted with the tagline “Life Finds A Way,” a callback to the line spoken by Goldblum’s character in Jurassic Park. The first trailer will debut on NBC during Thursday Night Football.
Directed by J.A. Bayona from a script by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, B.D. Wong, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin, James Cromwell and Jeff Goldblum. The film arrives June 22, 2018.
